Andre Mitushoff Chernobyl Foundation

Andre Mitushoff

Andre was born in Kiev and migrated to Canada in 1998. In Toronto, he graduated from Seneca College specializing in Software Development and spent the last five years working at UHN building medical applications. In 2010, he found several pictures of Chernobyl recuperation trip to USA (just 2 years after the disaster), which shaped his interest in learning about the consequences of Chernobyl disaster and seeking solutions to alleviate the damage to environment and the victims.

Andriy Bilskyy

Andrew was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. He graduated from Kiev’s Polytechnic Institute specializing in Materials Processing by using special Technologies. In the last ten years he worked at the Bosch Group at various positions related to sales and development of sales strategies. At the same time, Andrew always had a desire to engage in social service and help the victims of Chernobyl.
For him, Chernobyl Foundation gives an opportunity to help the people affected by the Chernobyl disaster and make our planet cleaner.
Lioubov Tichonova Chernobyl Foundation

Lioubov Tichonova

Secretary and Treasurer
Luba Tichonova is a graduate of Stavropol Medical Institute, who was a practicing ophthalmologist at the Regional Hospital in Stavropol. Since migrating to Canada in 1998, she has completed Opticianry program at Seneca College and currently works as an Optician at LensCrafters, Toronto.
During her medical practice, she got very aware of the Chernobyl disaster and wishes to contribute to environmental restoration and assist the victims of Chernobyl.

Dr. Marat Slessarev Chernobyl Foundation

Dr. Marat Slessarev

Dr. Marat Slessarev is a clinician specializing in areas of internal medicine and critical care. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Physiology, and maintains active interests in cardiopulmonary physiology research, development of medical devices for critical care and emergency medicine, clinical informatics and quality and safety in healthcare. He is an active member of Canadian and Ontario Medical Associations, and Canadian Association of Interns of Residents where he serves as a Liaison to the Specialist Forum of CMA.
Alexander Belyakov Chernobyl Foundation

Alexander Belyakov, Ph.D

Alexander is an instructor in the Sustainability Management Certificate program at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. In addition to sustainability, Alexander’s area of expertise includes international disaster and emergency policies and communications with a specific focus on recovery after nuclear disasters. He has developed a new course and a case study on Chernobyl, which are offered for the Certificate in Disaster and Emergency Management at Ryerson University.
